I first became interested in photography at age 8 ...

I would convince my sister to model for me in our driveway (she was 4!) I still have those photos, because in those days we printed the whole roll of film! 

 

I quickly fell in love with everything photography...

and was lucky enough to have a mom who let me use her 35mm Minolta camera. I took photography classes in high school, and I even had a darkroom setup in my house.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography...

from the University of Florida in Gainesville.

And now here I am 18 years later....

continuing to grow, trying out new ideas, experimenting, and taking courses from others in my field. I also informally teach about the basics of photography to anyone who wants to learn locally.

I have lived in South Florida my whole life...

currently I live in Coral Springs. I am married and have two children and two dogs- a mini schnauzer and a dachshund.
